Emmanuel
Hernandez has communicated his intent to retire as Chief Financial Officer
of SunPower Corporation. Mr. Hernandez has agreed to remain fully
engaged in his current role until a new Chief Financial Officer is appointed,
into 2009 if needed. Mr. Hernandez was previously identified in the
Company’s 2008 proxy statement as one of the Company’s named executive
officers.
